Customization Options Could Make Every Cadillac Celestiq Unique

[ad_1]

The Cadillac Celestiq is on the horizon, ready to sweep and continue the luxury marque’s electric attack with handcrafted quality and unmatched luxury. Cadillac Society have now learned that the upcoming full-size electric luxury sedan will be customizable to the smallest of aspects, and no two Celestiq sedans are alike.

This extreme level of customization will allow Celestiq buyers to control every detail of their vehicle, similar to the Bespoke department at Bentley and Rolls-Royce. A source tells us that the level of customization will be so high that Cadillac will allow customers to use wood from trees in their front yards for Celestiq interior trim. That option, along with many other options, will be available to Celestiq buyers.

That means the upcoming electric luxury sedan will be the most customizable vehicle in the history of Cadillac and its parent company, General Motors. So, it’s no surprise that this car is also poised to become the most expensive vehicle the luxury brand has to offer, starting at $200,000. For reference, the most expensive Caddy to date is the high-performance Cadillac Escalade-V, which starts at $150,000.

Under the skin, the Cadillac Celestiq will be powered by the latest version of the BEV3 electric vehicle platform, which is driven by Ultium battery technology and Ultium Drive technology. The electric luxury sedan will also be one of the first vehicles to feature Ultra Cruise, a fully autonomous driver assistance system that will be able to handle up to 95 percent of real-world driving scenarios.

Additionally, the Cadillac Celestiq will feature a full glass roof with SPD SmartGlass, divided into four individually adjustable quadrants to allow as much or as little ambient light as passengers want thanks to SPD SmartGlass technology. The technology can also benefit the vehicle’s driving range by helping to better regulate the cabin temperature.

The Cadillac Celestiq has yet to be unveiled in full, although its reveal could happen as soon as June.

We will provide more details about the Celestiq as soon as we get it. Until then, be sure to subscribe Cadillac Society for more Cadillac Celestiq news and round-the-clock Cadillac news coverage.
