2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Gets New Maverick Noir Frost Paint

[ad_1]

The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing 2023 marks the super sedan’s second model year, and Cadillac Society had learned that it would be offered in a new exterior color known as Noir Maverick Frost.

The Maverick Noir Frost (production code GNW) will be exclusive to the Blackwing V-Series ultra-high performance sedan, the CT4-V Blackwing and its larger sibling, the CT5-V Blackwing. This new color replaces Dark Emerald Frost (production code G7W), which was offered for a limited time on the 2022 CT4-V Blackwing before being discontinued. The Maverick Noir Frost will cost extra to equip the Blackwing 2023 CT4-V, but pricing has not been announced.

Maverick Noir Frost will be available along with certain interior colorways, including:

  • Jet Black with Jet Black Accent
  • Natural Tan with Jet Black Accent
  • Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black Accents

It will not be offered in the Sangria interior colorway with Jet Black Accents.

As of this writing, there are no photos of the new color, but the “Frost” moniker likely means that it will be another matte shade. If that’s the case, it will be the second matte exterior paint offered on the Blackwing CT4-V after Dark Emerald Frost, and the fourth matte finish offered by the luxury marque as a whole. Crystal White Frost, offered in 2016, exclusively on the ATS-V and CTS-V Crystal White Frost Edition models. In 2013, 100 units of the CTS-V Coupe were painted in a matte Silver Frost color.

As a reminder, 2022’s most superior Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 engine (production code LF4) that produces 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, while a 10-speed automatic is optional. Power is channeled exclusively through the rear wheels.
