The Cadillac Lyriq 2023 is on its way to dealerships, and now, the luxury brand has revealed that its first electric vehicle is capable of traveling 312 miles on a full charge.

While these statistics do not appear on the EPA website for the US, they can be found at NRCan, Canada’s database of fuel consumption ratings. NRCan states that the Lyriq can cover a distance of 502 kilometers on a full charge, 312 miles to be exact.

Riding on the new BEV3 platform, the Cadillac Lyriq 2023 in rear-wheel drive base form is equipped with a 100.4 kWh Ultium lithium-ion battery pack and a single Drive Ultium motor mounted on the rear axle. The electric driveline is rated at 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. Production of the Lyriq Debut Edition began in late March at the Spring Hill factory in Tennessee.

The Cadillac Lyriq Debut Edition 2023 offers high-speed DC fast charging of up to 190 kW, allowing customers to extend a range of approximately 76 miles in approximately 10 minutes at a designated charging station. Recently, Cadillac announced that the high-performance Lyriq was on its way, featuring a second Ultium Drive motor that not only provided more power, but gave all-wheel-drive capability to a luxury crossover. The luxury brand has since indicated that the performance-oriented variation of the Lyriq, due to arrive sometime in early 2023, will have more than 500 horsepower.

Additionally, it was recently revealed that the Cadillac Lyriq 2023 is capable of towing up to 3,500 pounds, as much as the internal combustion engine-powered Cadillac XT5. However, it’s currently unclear what kind of range the Lyriq will get when hauling a full payload.
