Our interest clearly lies in the automotive realm, and since then Motor1.com the team is full of die-hard Star Wars fans, we couldn’t help but gather social posts from the automaker celebrating the event.
We were surprised at how many companies were sensitive to this one strength. And it looks like Mercedes-Benz beats everyone up with a Facebook post showing the high-tech interior of the EQS sailing through the stars.
Citroen has also been roomy with its elaborate depiction of its Ami EV city car, which is small enough for a 14-year-old to legally drive.
Kia trades outer space for the twin sun-drenched desert of Tatooine, where apparently, rebels ride Telluride.
Infiniti also chose Tatooine as the setting for its Star Wars Day post, featuring a QX50 parked outside, well, at some place.
Volkswagen is on Tatooine for this short video, where some Javanese are eyeing ID. Buzz is a bit suspicious. Where was Darth Vader’s kid when you needed him?
W Motors paired a white Lykan Hypersport with some stormtroopers on Facebook. They might not be able to hit their target, but they could at least get out in a hurry.

Some companies are less ambitious with their Star Wars Day efforts, but they are entertaining nonetheless. For example, even BMW seems to realize how evil the new 7 Series looks in black.
The Ford GT is also somewhat menacing in black.
Mopar challenges people to choose the Jedi or Sith path. Luckily, you got the Challenger SRT Hellcat.
Lexus also wants you to choose your path, though you’ll have to stick with something less powerful.
It looks like Toyota wants you to choose the road, but with a black Camry in an obscure location, this post fills us with dark side energy.
The first Wednesday in May is National Skills Day, which this year falls on May 4. General Motors wants to let people know that technicians are the “force” behind your vehicle.
Even the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration had a thing or two to say on Star Wars Day.
