The Lego collection of brick-built cars continues to expand in 2022. Later this year, new Lego Speed Champions sets will go on sale, and automakers young and old will be able to enjoy seven new cars available in five new sets.

Not all kits are the same this year. The Aston and Mercedes included two cars and two drivers, along with other Lego goodies, such as helmets, extra rims, and other pieces of plastic. However, while the Mercedes set includes a lot more stuff, the Aston set is bigger at 592 pieces. Mercedes is 564 pieces. Plan your weekend properly.
The other three sets aren’t that big, though you only get one car. Lotus set the clock at 247 pieces. This includes an additional set of rims and wrenches, in addition to the drivers and the new Evija. The Ferrari kit, totaling 291 pieces, is the simplest of the three with just the car and driver in a white coat. The 1970 Lamborghini Countach kit includes drivers and wrenches in its 262 pieces.
Prices range from $19.99 for a single model kit and jump to $29.99 for a Mercedes. You’ll have to spend $39.99 to get the Aston Martin kit. Lego lists five chairs that will go on sale on March 1, 2022.
Lego has turned some of the most iconic new and vintage vehicles into toys that are fun for all ages. Five new sets should please a wide range of fans.
