Park Assist Features Return To 2022 Cadillac CT4-V And CT4-V Blackwing

The ongoing global shortage of microchips has forced Cadillac to restrict certain features from its vehicle lineup, but luckily, as the situation improved, those features were reintroduced. The garden relief feature on the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V and Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing 2022 was one of the early features that Cadillac had to trim from its lineup but has recently been reintroduced.

Cadillac Society have learned that all Blackwing CT4-V and CT4-V units are being built with Front and Rear Park Assist (production code UD5) and Reverse Automatic Braking (production code UVZ) starting April 10^th production. Previously, this feature was restricted, starting January 24^th production on all vehicles in the CT4 lineup, including the CT4 Luxury, CT4 Premium Luxury, CT4 Sport, CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing.

It should be noted that Front and Rear Park Assist is standard on the Blackwing CT4-V and CT4-V. While Reverse Automatic Breaking is standard on CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing units equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and is not available on units equipped with a six-speed manual transmission.

However, the park assist feature is still constrained on the regular CT4 (Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport). In regular production, Front and Rear Park Assist along with Reverse Automatic Braking will be standard on the Premium Luxury and Sport trims, while not being offered on units in the base Luxury trim.

As a reminder, a turbocharged 2.7L I4 (production code L3B) is standard on the CT4-V, where it produces 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque, and power can be channeled through the two rear wheels or all four via a 10-wheel automatic gearbox. -luxury marque acceleration. Meanwhile, the most superior 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 engine (production code LF4) with 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, while a 10-speed automatic is optional. Power is channeled exclusively through the rear wheels.
