The 2022 Cadillac XT4 has added a new exterior accent pack called Onyx Lite, Cadillac Society has learned.
The new Onyx Lite pack is an LPO-grade exterior cosmetic accent set, meaning it was installed by the dealer and not on the assembly line. It has cosmetic enhancements similar to the regular Onyx Pack (production code PCP), while serving as a temporary replacement for the latter, which is not currently available to order for the 2022 XT4.

The Onyx Lite package adds the following components to the 2022 Cadillac XT4 (relevant production code in parentheses):
- 20 inch Gloss Black Wheels (SKW)
- All season tires P245/45R20 (XD9)
- Gloss Black (RIK) XT4 nameplate
- Cadillac Monochrome (SFZ) Emblem
The Onyx Lite package is available on all XT4 trim levels, including Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport. Pricing details have not been announced. However, the components mentioned above add up to $2,495 when the prices of each are added together. They will likely be a bit cheaper if bundled as part of the Onyx Lite Plan.
The regular Onyx package – which costs $2,695 when available – includes the following components (relevant production code in brackets):
- Black surround grille with Black mesh (RZ9)
- 20 inch Gloss Black Wheels (SKW)
- All season tires P245/45R20 (XD9)
- Cadillac Monochrome (SFZ) Emblem

As such, the two differences between the two plans are that the regular Onyx pack gets a Black surround grille with Black mesh, which the Onyx Lite pack doesn’t have. Meanwhile, the Onyx Lite plan has the Gloss Black XT4 nameplate badge, which the regular Onyx plan doesn’t have. Interestingly, this grille is still available to order as a standalone option for $580. At this time, it’s unclear whether the Onyx Lite Plan will completely replace the regular Onyx Plan on the 2022 Cadillac XT4, or whether it will be offered alongside the regular plan.
As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac XT4 has one drivetrain option in North America – a turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), producing 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It bolts to a Cadillac nine-speed automatic transmission. Production takes place at the Cadillac Fairfax Plant in Kansas.
