On January 26th, Reddit user Scifieartist909 posted some of his amazing photos overhauled the Chevrolet Corvette C4 on the Cyberpunk subreddit (sci-fi genre, not video games). ‘Vette looks really cool, we should contact her and learn more.
Darius, the maker, started customizing this 1989 Corvette in 2014 when he was 20 years old. He has done all the work and fabrication to make a car that looks mean in his garage and warehouse.

Darius spent some time in college studying car design and then went on to create video game concept art. This skill is very helpful when creating his cyberpunk Corvette. He ripped the model for C4 from a video game and turned it in a 3D graphics program to shape the body into this wild-looking ‘Vette’.
“The rear is heavily inspired by the Alfa Romeo Bat 9. The front takes some inspiration from the Ferrari Sergio and Aston Martin Vulcan,” Darius told Motor1.com. He also took some hints from the vehicle brand Quadra from the video game Cyberpunk 2077.
At first, Darius tried to build a body by carving sea foam, but it turned out to be difficult. After trying some other ingredients, he settled in the Alumalight panel panel, which is an aluminum sheet around a corrugated plastic core. Later, he got used to forming carbon fiber and using it for the rear of the vehicle.
In November 2020, the cyberpunk Corvette was finally driveable, and Darius has driven 400 miles since getting behind the wheel. He told Motor1.com that during a recent trip to AutoZone, five people stopped him to talk about creation. People have been telling him about the car’s resemblance to the new Batmobile in the upcoming film.
The Corvette still uses the original 350-cubic-inch (5.7 liter) V8 engine. Darius has some plans for future updates. He wanted to add a rear-mounted turbocharger or supercharger. Eventually, he wanted to turn it into an electric drivetrain.
