The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V gets two new exterior colors: Electric Blue and Blaze Orange Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new orange hue.
Production code designated GCF and touch paint code WA-626G, Blaze Orange Metallic is one of nine exterior colors offered on the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V.

The Blaze Orange Metallic color is a surcharge item that adds an additional $625 to the vehicle’s price. The new hue is actually available on most of the CT4 lineup, including the CT4 Sport, CT4-V, as well as on the Blackwing CT4-V, but not on the Luxury or Premium Luxury trims. However, the color can be combined with all interior colorways.
Here are all the available interior color combinations for the Cadillac CT4 V-Series 2022:
- Jet Black with Jet Black accents
- Natural tan with Jet Black accents
- Sangria with Jet Black accent
- Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents
The Cadillac CT4 range received a few minor changes for the 2022 model year, including the removal of three exterior colors – Velocity Red, Evergreen Metallic, and Dark Blue Moon Metallic. It has been indirectly replaced by Blaze Orange Metallic, Electric Blue, and Dark Emerald Frost (the latter of which has been discontinued).
Additionally, this small luxury sedan introduces the new Onyx Package, which adds glossy black alloy wheels and various black exterior trim pieces. There is also a new Radiant Package that gives the car a bright exterior accent. Lastly, Cadillac has also added standard wireless phone charging along with more standard active safety features.
Additionally, the CT4 family gets a Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing for the 2022 model year. It represents the most powerful vehicle in the Cadillac CT4 lineup, utilizing a set of twin turbochargers bolted to the 3.6L V6 engine (production code LF4). This setup is rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, channeled exclusively to the rear wheels via a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional 10-speed automatic. It also has a unique front and rear fascia, an upgraded chassis and suspension system, improved performance brakes, and two available carbon fiber aero packages.
The 2022 Cadillac CT4 family is produced at the Cadillac Lansing Grand River Plant in Michigan for all markets except China, alongside the Cadillac CT5 family and the Chevy Camaro muscle car.
