Driving is identical to SIM. I can’t find any country that allows driving a motor vehicle on public roads without a permit. However, a man from England has been doing it since he was 12 years old – until he was caught recently.
According to a social media post from the Bulwell Police Department, an 83-year-old man driving a Mini One pulled up next to a grocery store. The violation of the man born in 1938 was kept secret by the authorities. But whatever it is, we are sure that it will not tarnish the offenses that this man committed even before he was a teenager.
How that person managed to drive for 70 years without being arrested is beyond our reach. Police said he had “never been in an accident, caused an injury, and never harmed anyone financially, by hitting them while uninsured!”
It goes without saying that driving without a license is illegal. However, we should note that this guy has been driving since he was 12 years old. Last we checked, the youngest age allowed to operate a motorized vehicle on public roads is 14 years old and must be supervised at least.
This ordeal was confusing for us, to be honest. Maybe the records don’t show any offense for this person and that because there is no note to attach them.
For those who think they can escape authority by driving without a license, think again. One way or another, the police will catch you – even if it takes seven decades.
