Dogs are man’s best friend, and we’ve witnessed on several occasions how far someone will go on behalf of their beloved dog. Remember John Wick? But this story is not about an elite group of killers and muscle cars. However, this is a story about the heartwarming relationship between a family and a dog, Marley.

Derek and Alex Kirchner of Cobb County, Georgia have been looking for Marley since September 2021. The family has been trying their best to find their missing dog but to no avail. So much so that Derek is now offering his 2016 Chevy Corvette Z51 as a gift to whoever will find the Marley, along with a $4,000 prize.

“He was a big part of our family and we had to get him back,” said Alex Kirchner Fox News.

Marley is a Whippet mix and is now four years old. He was adopted several years ago from the Cherokee County Humane Society. When Derek and his family went on vacation in Hilton Head, South Carolina in September, Marley ran away.

Since then, Derek has been looking for Marley in Hilton Head, trying to spread the word by biking around and distributing posters. He even has a trail camera installed in the city, while psychics have also been consulted to help with the search.

“I wake up in the morning, get out and start my morning search. I have a poster on my bike, ‘Lost dog’ and I’m driving around Hilton Head looking. Almost everyone in Hilton Head knows me as Marley’s dad,” says Derek Kirchner. Fox News.

Meanwhile, Alex and their son are now back at home in Georgia where he manages facebook group dedicated to finding Marley.
