The 2022 Cadillac XT5 adds two new exterior colors to its palette: Latte Metallic and Rosewood Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new Rosewood hue.
Designated GCK color code and touch paint code WA-627G, Rosewood Metallic is one of two red exterior colors available for the luxury crossover, with the other option being the Infrared Tintcoat. That said, Rosewood is a much darker hue than the Infrared option. Additionally, Rosewood Metallic is one of six metallic exterior color options available for the 2022 model year.
In total, there are eight colors available for the 2022 Cadillac XT5, including:
- Crystal White Tricoat
- Metallic Latte
- Metallic Steel Satin
- Metallic Black Star
- Metallic Rosewood
- Wilder Metallic
- Dark Moon Blue Metallic
- Infrared Tintcoat
Of these, Satin Steel Metallic is the only exterior color option included in the base price of the luxury crossover, with all other colors at an additional cost. For its part, the new Rosewood Metallic color costs an additional $625.
This new color is available in conjunction with all trim levels and interior color combinations.

- Deep black
- Cirrus with Dark Titanium
- Cirrus with Jet Black
- Sauvage Kona Brown with Jet Black
- Sedona Sauvage with Jet Black
- Maple Sugar with Jet Black
Production of the 2022 Cadillac XT5 begins on June 24th on Cadillac Spring Hill plant in Tennessee. As of this writing, dealer supplies of the 2022 Cadillac XT5 model are sparse due to the ongoing shortage of microchips, impacting production of the XT5.
Although the 2022 XT5 units are already in dealerships, it appears that the model finished in the new Rosewood Metallic hue is not widely available as of this writing. We recommend contacting your dealer about a model covered in the new Rosewood Metallic paint.
Potential buyers may be interested to know that, in addition to the color changes, the 2022 Cadillac XT5 receives some minor changes and updates such as new wheel options, new Brembo brake options, and more.
