The Ferrari Purosangue uses a new camouflage pattern in this new set of spy shots. The wrapper lets us see more of the crossover’s designs to come.

Recent examples of Purosange being spied on wore heavy body coverings. The hard panels underneath distort the outline of the body. Instead, this one wrap lets us see more of the curves of the exterior.

In front, there is a wide opening in the lower fascia. The company hides a lot of thin slits at the tip of the nose, but it’s easy to spot in the Ferrari teaser for the Pursangue (comparison below).

Despite the Ferrari wave pattern camouflage, you can get a good look at the Purosangue’s wing style. Most notably, the rear fenders curve upwards to give the crossover a muscular look. Additionally, the body is narrower along the bottom of the door in a way that accentuates the flared shape at the rear.

The altitude of the ride continues to look quite low. We don’t know if the suspension can be adjusted to lift the Purosangue. At the level in these photos, don’t expect to take this crossover off-road.

The Ferrari covered the wheels with black tape. Concealment doesn’t hide that they have a five-spoke design.

At the rear, the wing spans the two raised bodywork sections, and the hatchback window sits underneath. The area of the glass appears to be small enough that the rear view of the panel may be limited.

The tail also has an integrated spoiler under the hatchback glass. Under the bumper, there is a pair of large diameter exhaust pipes on each side.

We expect the Purosangue to be available with two powertrains. One of them is allegedly a V6 hybrid of the 296 GTB that produces 818 horsepower (610 kilowatts) and 546 pound-feet (740 Newton-meters) of torque in that application. Another option is the V12. It’s unclear if both engines will be available at launch.

At the moment, Ferrari only says the Purosangue reveal is “late this year.” Shipments to buyers begin in 2023.
