Unique Ferrari 812 Competizione A Wears Gorgeous Blu Capri Paint

The Ferrari Cavalcade is an annual gathering and road trip for owners of Italian brand vehicles. To celebrate 10 years of the event in 2021, Prancing Horse is building five cars that take inspiration from the sights along the route. The first is the 812 Competizione A in the shade Blu Capri.

The color is green with a hint of blue. Ferrari describes it as “an intense, colorful blue, featuring various shades inspired by the sea.”

Although these images are renderings only, the paintwork looks great on the 812 Competizione A. The dark colors blend perfectly with the carbon fiber that adorns the front fascia, hood, roof and rear fascia. The yellow brake calipers seem too bright for the rest of the design, and might look better in dull hues.

Ferrari gave no hint of another Cavalcade-inspired vehicle on the way. There are no pricing details for the Blu Capri car yet. The 812 Competizione A starts at €578,000 in Europe, so you can expect the cost for this one to be higher than that amount.

The 812 Competizione coupe and Aperta are replacements for the 812 Superfast and GTS. They use a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 that makes 830 horsepower and 510 pound-feet and spins at 9,500 rpm. Ferrari says it reaches 62 miles per hour in 2.85 seconds and has a top speed of 211 mph.

Like the model it replaces, the 812 Competizione uses a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. However, some adjustments to the transmission shifted five percent faster.

Ferrari made 999 units of the 812 Competizione coupe and 599 units of the Aperta. Deliveries of the hardtop begin in the first quarter of 2022, and versions with removable roof panels go on sale to buyers in the fourth quarter of this year. The customer has spoken for the whole production process.
