Jason Momoa Joining ‘The Fast Fam’ For Fast And Furious 10

A word of warning before you dive into this short but sweet article. We will do our best not to use words family for the next five minutes or so, but it’s tough. For reasons we can’t explain, it’s really hard to avoid the F word when talking about Fast today’s story. Not that said F. Or maybe it is? We will leave that interpretation to you, dear reader.

Now, let’s talk about the M word, which obviously stands for Momoa. Jason Momoa is more specific – yes, Aquaman himself traded his trident for a bottle of NOS in the upcoming 10th series. Fast and full of energy franchise. The news came via The Fast Saga’s Facebook page, and a quick check at Internet Movie Database (IMDB) confirmed it. Momoa is the newest member of the Fast… um… crew.

What role will Momoa take in his next automotive adventure? Absolutely nothing is known at this time, as there is not even a character name registered on IMDB. If tradition holds, he could play a tough federal agent, a rogue special forces operative, or Dom’s brother. No, his other brother, whom no one talks about. Not that other one no one is talking about. Hey, what kind of family is this? Damn, we said it.

Here’s what we know about next Fast film. The tentative release date is April 7, 2023, and as last we heard, filming is expected to begin in January 2022, which is now as this article was posted. Franchise veteran Justin Lin returns to the director’s chair, and while we don’t have the full cast on IMDB yet, the main cast should return. Jason Statham’s brief cameo in F9’s mid-credits scene suggests he could return, and the fact that his character works with Han (played by Sung Kang) who he killed far away in Tokyo Drift, the return of Gisele (played by Gal Gadot) could happen as well.

Just one more movie to look forward to after fast 10, and it’s possible that they could film successively for extended shows in theaters. Given that previous films included a rocket-powered Pontiac Fiero that actually flew into space, audiences could be well on their way.
