Bugatti has announced that deliveries of the Chiron Super Sport customer car have been declared. The hypercar, introduced in June 2021, is one of the fastest cars ever made by the French manufacturer.
One of the customer’s cars Chiron Super Sport comes with a unique style, thanks to the Sur Mesure customization program from Bugatti. The bespoke paint is called ‘Vagues de Lumière’ which was created in close collaboration between its undisclosed new owner and the Sur Mesure Bugatti team. The intricate hand-painted pattern mimics the way light reflects off the body of the Chiron Super Sport.

Apart from the announcement, Bugatti also confirmed that all Chiron Super Sport build slots have been pre-booked, “with an extensive waiting list should any open.” For the record, production of the Chiron Super Sport is limited to just nine units, which is even rarer than the 30 units of the Chiron Super Sport 300+.
Compared to the regular Chiron, the Chiron Super Sport has a redesigned body that stretches 25 centimeters (9.8 inches) for optimal airflow at high speeds. The 8.0-liter quad-turbo engine produces 1,577 horsepower and 1,600 Newton-meters (1,180 pound-feet) of torque.
The Chiron Super Sport is also seven percent faster than the standard Chiron. It can reach 124 miles per hour (200 kilometers) in 5.8 seconds and 186 mph (300 km/h) in 12.1 seconds. It’s electronically limited to 273 mph (440 km/h), “easily” achievable according to Bugatti. To withstand this speed, the hypercar is equipped with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 with reinforced belts.
In case you were wondering, the Chiron Super Sport, including the bespoke example above, costs around €3.2 million or $3.5 million at current exchange rates.
