The 2022 Cadillac Escalade and its longer variant, the 2022 Cadillac Escalade ESV, are becoming more expensive.
The new Escalade models in the Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, and Sport Platinum trim levels have all seen an increase in price, with the Premium Luxury model now being $2,700 more while the Sport model has seen a $3,000 increase. An additional $3,500 has been applied to the Premium Luxury Platinum and Sport Platinum trim levels. Prices for the base Luxury trim remain the same as of this writing.
The price change is the result of Super Cruise (production code UKL), Cadillac’s semi-autonomous driver assistance feature, becoming standard on the price-increasing trim. Previously, the Super Cruise would have been standard on the 2022 Cadillac Escalade models at the start of the 2022 model year, but the feature was removed due to an ongoing global microchip shortage. Shortly thereafter, it became available to order again. As a standalone option, Super Cruise adds $2,500 to the price of the Escalade.

With the price changes implemented, the 2022 Cadillac Escalade now starts at $89,290 for the Premium Luxury model and $92,290 for the Sport model, including destination and shipping costs. Prices for the full-size luxury SUV in Premium Luxury Platinum or Sport Platinum trim now start at $106,790.
As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac Escalade is the second model year of the fifth generation of luxury SUVs. This model offers two engine options. The first is a naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 engine (production code L87), which makes 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The second is the 3.0L I6 turbodiesel (production code LM2), making 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Both engine options are connected to a Cadillac 10-speed automatic transmission.
