The 2024 Cadillac XT6 isn’t too different from the 2023 model, aside from a few minor changes to its exterior paint color lineup. However, it introduced several new exterior accent packages, including the Blue Accent Package, the Bronze Accent Package and the Red Accent Package. Let’s take a closer look at the Red Accent Package.
The Red Accent Package (manufacturing code PDK) is an LPO grade (dealer installed) package and costs $2,995. It is only available on the 2024 Cadillac XT5 Sport trim, and is not offered on the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims. The Red Accent Package includes the following elements (relevant production codes are listed in brackets):
- Red body sticker, LPO (SB9)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblem, PUT (SFZ)
- Wheels Gloss Black 20 inch, LPO (S2K)
- Red wheel center cap, LPO (5ZD)
- Black wheel nut, LPO (SPY)
- Black wheel lock, LPO (SPZ)
- Tire Pressure Monitor, LPO (SD5)
The Gloss Black wheels included in the package replace the standard 20-inch 12-Spoke Diamond Cut wheels with pockets of Dark Android Satin finish (production code Q6N) normally included with the XT6 Sport.
The Red Accent Package cannot be combined with the Onyx Package (build code PDB) or the Onyx Lite Package (build code PCP), both of which are optional on the 2024 Cadillac XT6.
As a reminder, production of the XT6 takes place at its Spring Hill plant in Tennessee for all markets except China, and 2024 model year assembly begins in June 2023. The vehicle’s engine lineup comprises two engine options: a naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 (production designation LGX), rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, standard in Premium Luxury and Sport trims; and a turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), with 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, available exclusively on the base Luxury trim.
