Bugatti Rimac is opening a new engineering and design center in Berlin, but the big news from the event is that the company is teasing a pair of future models. In the image showing the automaker’s design director Achim Anscheidt and chief technical officer Emilio Scervo, the covers of the two models show Rimac and Buggati badges respectively.
The Rimac-covered vehicle sits next to the Nevera, which creates a great opportunity to compare it. The general shape is similar, but it looks like the upcoming product will have more prominent fender flares and a larger rear wing. Given the correlation of styling, this engine is probably the hotter variant of the Nevera.

While we didn’t see it well, there’s a lot more information available about future Bugatti than what Rimac is working on. Company boss Mate Rimac insists that the Chiron successor continues to use a combustion engine while being “highly electrified.” He also pointed out features never seen before on a production car.
Bugatti intends to start showing new model designs to its wealthy clients in 2022 as a way to collect orders. The public won’t be able to see hypercars until 2024.
The new facility in Berlin will handle the design and engineering of the next generation of Bugatti and Rimac products. It will also be the home of the new German subsidiary Bugatti Rimac GmbH with resources for procurement, finance, program management, IT, legal and marketing.
Rimac is also building a new headquarters near Zagreb, Croatia, which will open in 2023. The site will build vehicles, in addition to being a hub for research and development. It will have features such as a test track and a roof garden. The automaker intends for about 2,500 employees to work there when construction is complete.
Bugatti will continue to manufacture its vehicles at its existing facility in Molsheim, France.
