Audi RS6 Avant Tactical Green With ABT Mods Borders On Perfection

[ad_1]

Our love for wagons runs deep, especially when we’re dealing with real estate in a custom color like Tactical Green. Wearing an Audi Exclusive paint, this RS6 Avant will make you forget all the RS SUVs that carry the Four Rings. This is a very practical family car that happens to be powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine. In this case, the 4.0 liter engine has been massaged by ABT.

The German tuner brings the mild hybrid powertrain to 700 hp and 880 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque, enabling 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.1 seconds. Flat, it should do 200 mph (322 km/h). Although not immediately visible, ABT also applies a subtle carbon fiber aero body kit to make the RS6 Avant look more robust. New fast train shot by our friend auditography in Amsterdam to show off his many mods.

There is no longer the Audi Sport’s signature dual oval exhaust tip as it has been replaced by a quad ABT stainless steel configuration with oversized 102mm upholstery protruding from the body. While we don’t always like black wheels, they go well with add-ons and dark body badges. The RS6 Avant has been brought closer to the road by 25 millimeters (one inch) at the front and 30 mm (1.2 inches) at the rear thanks to its height-adjustable suspension.

If 700 hp is still not enough, ABT will happily roll the RS6 Avant up to 740 hp and 920 Nm (679 lb-ft). With the Tactical Green example being built for Europe, it has the dreaded soft limiter and gasoline particulate (OPF) filter to stay road legal, but even so, the engine sounds a bit brutal when the car is stationary.

You might want to enjoy V8 music while you still can because Audi is already thinking about the all-electric RS6. The recently unveiled A6 Avant E-Tron Concept is set to go into production later this decade and technical development boss Oliver Hoffman has confirmed the electric A6 lineup will include a performance version.
