Roush Performance is no stranger to the upgraded Ford F-150 model. Aftermarket companies have been doing it for decades, and the current generation model is no exception. Roush even came up with a performance package for last year’s best-selling pick-up.

But just because Roush released the pack last year, that doesn’t mean it won’t do anything for 2022. The company is upgrading both exterior and interior cosmetics on top of an upgraded suspension system. The 2022 Roush F-150 is for those who prefer the truck between the standard and Raptor models. Those wanting the Roush upgrade should get the XLT with the 302A option package or the Lariat with the 502A as the base vehicle.

So what’s new for the 2022 Roush F-150? This year’s pack features a new grille with the Roush typeface revamped for a more refined look. But that’s not the only thing that’s changed in the new truck. New for the ’22 are the clearance lights at the top of the grille. The hood also gets an upgrade thanks to the heat extraction vents. Roush redesigned the fender beacon, plus a new graphics pack is available for those who prefer a unique set of decals.

Like the 2021 model, the 2022 Roush F-150 uses 20-inch wheels with the Roush design wrapped in 33-inch General Tire Grabber A/TX tires. The truck uses a custom off-road coilover suspension. The upgrade lifts the F-150’s ground clearance and improves handling to aid off-road progress. It is also equipped with the standard Roush performance exhaust, but the active exhaust system remains optional.

There are two interior designs available for the 2022 Roush F-150. For the XLT, customers get dual leather seats in gray and black. The Lariat has an all-black leather interior that complements the Vintage Carmine interior accents. Other interior upgrades include serial badges, WeatherTech floor mats, and a custom gauge pack.

Roush plans start at $18,500 over the base vehicle, but can go past $20,000 if the buyer chooses several options. These include the Ready Package ($660) which adds an off-road utility kit and console vault, Dual End Active Exhaust System ($1,800), Premium Skin Package ($1,850), and the Accent Graphics Pack ($325).
