Order bank for the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray opens from today. With the news comes word of a modest $1,000 price hike, along with pricing for the 70th Anniversary Edition available on the Stingray and Z06. Speaking of the Z06, if you’ve been waiting patiently for a price, the wait will continue. Today’s stats are for standard C8 only.
The Stingray now starts at $61,900, excluding the $1,295 mandatory destination fee. All in all, the cheapest 2023 Corvette is $63,195 out-the-door. For reference, the current model starts at $62,195, although Chevrolet dropped $50 because rear parking assistance wasn’t available due to a semiconductor shortage. Whether it holds up to 2023 remains to be seen.
We also have some pricing for the new features for 2023, starting with the wheel option. Gloss Black (Q91) wheels will cost you $995. Ultra Bright Machined wheels (Q99) for $1,995, and Satin Black rims with red striping (Q9A) for $1,495. The large tamale is a Tech Bronze (5DG) accessory wheel set that costs $3,195. Other notes are the $200 black exhaust tip, and the $595 aluminum interior trim. Chevrolet also told us the Adrenallie Red Dipped interior is a no-cost item, but it’s only available on the higher trim level 3LT.
In January, Chevrolet unveiled a 70th Anniversary Edition package honoring the original 1953 Corvette. We can now report the price for the package is $5,995, and it’s only offered on the Stingray 3LT or Z06. As a refresher, the Corvette 70th Anniversary Edition is available in just two exterior colors: Carbon Flash Metallic or White Pearl Tri-Coat. Special alloy wheels, red brake calipers, rear bumper guard and trunk cover and birthday badge are exterior upgrades. Inside you’ll find contrasting red stitching, red seat belts and two-tone Ceramic leather seats. The coupe gets a red engine cover. Exterior stripes are a $995 option.
As for the high-revving Corvette Z06 2023, Chevrolet will announce pricing at a later date but it won’t be far away. Production is rumored to start in May, and although we don’t have official figures, it’s expected to start between $85,000 and $90,000.
