Bespoke RR Phantom Features Carbon Fiber Fascia Inspired By A Yacht

British automaker Rolls-Royce is known for its bespoke creations. The latest release comes from Dubai and is called Carbon Veil. The Rolls-Royce Phantom is modest on the outside, but wait until you see the cabin little fight.

Introduced by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dubai, the bespoke Phantom comes with the Carbon Veil Gallery, designed by the automaker and turned into reality by artist and sculptor Alastair Gibson.

Gibson is a former Formula 1 mechanic who now creates invaluable works of art that can be seen in galleries around the world.

The gallery, which is endemic to Phantom and allows the owner to display original artwork or designs, is different from Carbon Veil. As the name suggests, the Gallery in this bespoke creation is made entirely of carbon fiber.

This isn’t just the usual carbon fiber treatment a car gets. Usually, there are four to five layers used when lightweight materials are used in cars. Inside the Phantom Carbon Veil, there are at least 150 sheets of carbon fiber impregnated with resin and compacted, forming a solid billet.

According to Rolls-Royce, the angular and recessed shape of the Carbon Veil Gallery was inspired by the 118 WallyPower – a luxury motor yacht that can reach a maximum speed of 70 miles per hour (110 kilometers per hour).

On the outside, the bespoke Phantom Carbon Veil comes with a gunmetal exterior, accented with vibrant mandarin orange on the coachline and waftline. Spirit of Ecstasy is also made of carbon fiber. Inside, there’s a contrast between dark tones and light skin tones, along with a rotary control with a skin tone and detail dial.

Rolls-Royce didn’t reveal the pricing of the Phantom Carbon Veil but we’re sure wealthy customers don’t need to ask.
