The 2023 Cadillac XT4 adds two new exterior colors to its palette: Argent Silver Metallic and Radiant Red Tintcoat. Here’s our first look at the new Red hue.

Given the production code GNT and the paintwork code WA-170H, the Radiant Red Tintcoat is one of eight exterior colors offered on this small luxury crossover, which include:

  • Crystal White Tricoat
  • Metallic Lattes
  • Galaxy Gray Metallic
  • Metallic Black Star
  • Rosewood metallic
  • Metallic Wave
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (new for 2023)
  • Argent Silver Metallic (new for 2023)

The Radiant Red Tintcoat color is a surcharge item that adds an additional $1,225 to the price of the vehicle. This color is available in all trims and works with all interior colorways except Sedona/Jet Black. Here are the five interior colorways:

  • Light Platinum/Jet Black
  • Deep black
  • Jet Black with Cinnamon Accents
  • Light Wheat/Jet Black with Red Accents
  • Sedona/Jet Black

After the 2023 model year, the first-generation Cadillac XT4 will receive a mid-cycle refresh. Originally slated for the 2022 model year, the refresh was first pushed back to the 2023 model year and then to the 2024 model due to the setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic that followed. We saw the 2024 Cadillac XT4 prototype for the first time back in June. Then in September, we saw a prototype that better demonstrated the new front fascia design.

The 2019 through 2023 Cadillac XT4 features one drivetrain option in North America – a turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), with 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It bolts to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission.

Production of the XT4 took place at the Cadillac Fairfax Plant in Kansas. The 2023 Cadillac XT4 starts rolling off the assembly line on June 10th2022.
