The ultra-performance Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing 2022 model is a major upgrade to the CT5 lineup for the 2022 Cadillac CT5. Taking the CT5-V to the next level, the Blackwing CT5-V is powered by Cadillac’s supercharged 6.2L V8 engine (production code LT4), which produces 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels via a standard six-speed manual transmission sourced from Tremec, while a Cadillac 10-speed automatic is available as an option. It also has a unique front and rear fascia, an upgraded chassis and suspension system, improved performance brakes, and two available carbon fiber aero packages.

Meanwhile, the “regular” CT5-V packs a Cadillac 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 engine (production code LGY), pumping out a very healthy 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque.
