2023 Cadillac CT5 Discontinues These Five Paint Colors

The 2023 Cadillac CT5 discontinues the five exterior paint colors previously offered in the 2022 model year, Cadillac Society has learned.

The following five exterior paint colors will not return to the Cadillac CT5 in the 2023 model year (relevant paint codes are listed in brackets):

  • Metallic Sky Diamond (G9F)
  • Satin Steel Metal (G9K)
  • Metallic Shadows (GJI)
  • Garnet Metal (GLR)
  • Infrared Tintcoat (GSK)

2021 Cadillac CT5 in Shadow Metallic

Garnet Metallic is only available on CT5 units with Luxury or Premium Luxury trim. Meanwhile, Satin Steel Metallic, Shadow Metallic and Infrared Tintcoat are offered at the CT5 Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels. For the 2023 model year, the CT5 gets three new exterior colors, each of which costs more. They are as follows (the relevant cat codes are listed in brackets):

  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT)
  • Argent Silver Metal (GXD)
  • Midnight Steel Metal (GXU)

2021 Cadillac CT5 in Infrared Tintcoat

As a reminder, the Cadillac CT5 350T is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L I4 (production code LSY), making 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is standard on the Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels. A twin-turbo 3.0L V6 (production code LGY) is optional on the CT5 Premium Luxury, which produces 335 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque, identifiable by the 550T badge on the deck cover. Both engines bolt to Cadillac’s 10-speed automatic transmission. Production occurs at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan for all markets except China.
