Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo Roadster Debuts With Smooth Shape In GT7

Coinciding with the launch Gran Turismo 7, Jaguar presents the Vision Gran Turismo Roadster. This is the third entry in the brand’s virtual concept series.

The Vision Gran Turismo Roadster has a refined shape that especially evokes the look of the Jaguar D-Type race cars from the 1950s. At the front, there is a lightweight ring that adds to the retro aesthetic. The angular light strips in the corners make the vehicle look a little more futuristic.

There is only seating for one person with a wraparound windshield. The skinny fin behind the cockpit is another aesthetic nod to the D-Type. The vertical element has a Union Jack engraved on it and also features LED lighting.

The in-game Vision Gran Turismo Roadster specification features three electric motors providing all-wheel drive. In total, the setup produces 1,006 horsepower (750 kilowatts) and 885 pound-feet (1,200 Newton-meters). It can reach 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) in less than 2 seconds. Top speed over 200 mph (322 kph).

The Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo SV endurance racer is also finally rideable in the game after initially debuting in December 2020. It is the brand’s imaginary endurance racer with a massive front splitter and massive wing.

The vehicle’s four-motor powertrain produces a total of 1,877 hp (1,400 kW). This setup allows the SV to reach 60 mph (96 kph) in 1.65 seconds, and can reach a top speed of 255 mph (410 kph).

The first vehicle from this British car manufacturer is the Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo Coupe. It debuted in October 2019, and the car was originally for games Sports Gran Turismo. Players can drive the entry machine Gran Turismo 7also.

In gaming, the coupe uses three electric motors that produce a total of 1,006 hp (750 kW) and 885 lb-ft (1,200 Nm). This makes the car reach 60 mph (96 kph) in under 2 seconds and a top speed of over 200 mph (322 kph). Instead of sounding like an EV, the Jag delivers a powertrain record of a 3.8-liter inline-six in the D-Type Long Nose that won the 1957 24 Hours of Le Mans.
