Technology has taken us far. The Metaverse, which is a fictional picture of the internet as a whole, is now becoming something thanks to technology that utilizes virtual and augmented reality. And now, a Fiat store is available in the metaverse with the launch of the world’s first metaverse powered showroom, the Fiat Metaverse Store.

Developed in collaboration with Touchcast and Microsoft, the Fiat Metaverse Store promises a “human-assisted, instant, realistic and stress-free process” to purchase a Fiat. The Metaverse Store features Fiat Product Genius, real people who can answer any customer question in real time.

And while the metaverse typically uses both augmented and virtual reality, the Fiat Metaverse Store doesn’t require customers to use VR headsets or other expensive hardware. This is made possible by Metaverse-as-a-Service Touchcast built in the Microsoft Cloud.

“Inside” the Metaverse Store, Product Genius welcomes customers and works with customers to explore the car through a 360-degree view. Product Genius will also help customers learn about car technology, including answering any questions about electric mobility, recharging and any content from the New Fiat 500.

In addition, customers can also take a closer look at how the infotainment and various EV driving and charging modes work, as well as customize the model by choosing the desired body, color, interior and other features. In addition, customers can also recreate the driving experience on the New Fiat 500 La Prima by Bocelli at the La Pista 500, the track on the roof of the Lingotto building in Turin.

While the New 500 La Prima by Bocelli is the only Fiat available at the Metaverse Store, the company says that it will expand to the entire 500 range by the end of the year. Beginning in 2023, the entire range of Fiat and its products will be available.

Fiat says the Product Genius is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Customers can continue their metaverse experience to the physical by going to the nearest physical dealer for a test drive.
