Ford has recently been booming when it comes to new products and the third-generation Everest comes at a time when ladder SUVs are gaining popularity. Ford touts its water-watering capability of up to 800 mm (2.6 ft) while the roof can withstand 350 kg (772 lbs) of static loads or 100 kg (220 lbs) of dynamic loads. Interestingly, the engine bay has room for a second battery to charge various aftermarket accessories to accentuate Everest’s outdoor character.

From the 360-degree camera and matrix LED headlights to the adaptive cruise control and lane guard assistance, the Ford Everest 2023 is full of technology. Blue Oval has also implemented automatic evasive steering assist to avoid collisions if braking alone is not enough. If an accident does occur, post-collision braking will be applied to avoid a secondary accident.

Become a big SUV (Well, at least for someone used to European SUVs), future owners will be happy to hear Everest can park itself. In addition, it can also drive you away by relying on the all-around camera and parking sensors on the front and rear. Going on sale later this year, the RWD-based Ford Everest will be offered in Sport, Titanium and Platinum trim levels, with additional versions planned depending on the region.
