Mechanically, the Plus Four uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine sourced from BMW. It produces 255 horsepower (190 kilowatts) at 4,400 rpm and 295 pound-feet (400 Newton-meters) from 1,000 to 4,300 revolutions with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. With the six-speed manual, the torque rating drops to 258 lb-ft (350 Nm).
