Products not recommended for cleaning the motorcycle chain
The only thing you need to pay special attention to when cleaning the chain of your bike is do not use products in particular, such as unleaded petrol or trichlorethylene or alcohol. All of these products can be miraculous in the moment, as they actually remove all the dirt, but then over time they can become a real problem for all parts of the vehicle that can take advantage of it.
Another thing to avoid is rub brushes made of hard materials against the chain or metal that can be useful on the one hand because they help to remove encrusted dirt without making too much effort, but it is likely that parts of paint will also come off and not only. The consequence is the formation of rust.
Then if you use compressed air for dry the chain more easily and quickly, it is good to avoid keeping the jet close, the ideal distance is 70 cm. Finally to conclude, it goes without saying that while doing maintenance on the motorcycle chain, this must remain off and positioned on the stand until the end. Only when it is completely dry can the vehicle be switched on.
