The full-size luxury SUV ended the year as the brand’s best-selling model, replacing the XT5 that traditionally held that title. In fact, the Escalade recorded the highest sales record since 2007 with 40,505 units. Meanwhile, sales of the XT4, XT5, and XT6 were in the red due to a shortage of microchips. Together, the crossover trio lost 19,684 cumulative units compared to 2020, as they were most affected by the global semiconductor shortage.

Overall, the solid upgrades recorded by the Cadillac Escalade and CT4 are not enough to offset the decline experienced by the CT5, XT4, XT5 or XT6 crossovers.
