The last extension should have expired on 31 October, but the Government has decided to extend everything to next November 18th. And what will happen next? Will we go on indefinitely with the extensions on the cut in excise duties or will we risk paying more than 2 euros per liter for fuel? The uncertainties are many!
But what happened at a petrol station in Sicily is unbelievable. In fact, it has been distributing free fuel for hours and hours to hundreds of motorists! Here are all the details on what happened!

Being able to refuel the tank of your car by spending zero euros is a dream for many people, especially at a similar time with price increases in every sector! But in the case that happened in Sicily, there was no gift from the petrol station and no state bonus. What happened then?
In the hamlet of San Leone, near Agrigento, a local petrol station went completely haywire! The incident occurred in early October, due to damage to the dispensers of this distributor. Word spread quickly and hundreds of people rushed to the distributor to refuel their cars for free.
An absolutely illegal move, but the distributor was literally stormed. Confirming how much the price increases are really ‘oppressing’ many people. Also the video surveillance cameras in the area had gone haywire. Therefore, the police have not been able to identify the drivers who have stolen the fuel to the unfortunate owner of the petrol pumps!
The manager could not help but file a complaint against unknown persons. In total they were illegally disbursed for free as well 3 thousand liters of diesel and petrol. More than 5,000 euros of petrol stolen from the distributor manager!
It is not the first time that a similar episode has occurred in our country. In fact, already last March in Eboli – near Salerno – thousands of people had exploited the same failure of another distributor. In that case, over 20,000 euros of fuel were stolen, but the cameras were working! The police have therefore managed to recover the plates of all the ‘gasoline thieves’!
