Not all the speed cameras we see mounted on the streets are true. In fact, you need to know that there are some fake ones, which deceive, because they have all the air of being just like the real ones and functioning.

The function of the speed camera
The speed camera tectorizes many motorists, especially those who love to run. But theirs is one preventive function very important because they ensure that the limits are respected, to avoid serious accidents and disastrous consequences for the driver himself, or for others.
Respecting speed limits is important because it reduces the number of road accidents and saves lives. All speed cameras must be reported at least 4 km in advance to allow motorists to decelerate to return to the imposed limits. Fines for unreported speed cameras can be contested.
The signaling has a logical sense, it is mandatory to prevent motorists from braking carelessly, at the last moment, favoring rear-end collisions or various inconveniences. If motorists are notified in time, they will they have plenty of time to downshift and slow down without problems, risks and inconveniences of any kind.
What are the differences between real and fake speed cameras
Speed cameras are of two types, those marked blue and those marked orange. The blue ones are always operational, both day and night, they always carry out the reading of the number plates, after having detected that the speed limit imposed on that stretch of road has been exceeded. They are able to operate in any visibility condition because they work in infrared.
The orange speed cameras, on the other hand, do not have this purpose, they just want to dissuade the motorist from running. They are not approved speed cameras, so they do not contain a device that detects the speed of vehicles. Obviously this does not mean that you can run in that stretch without running the risk of getting a fine because the control systems are varied. For example, there may be a patrol of agents ready to fine this especially on some types of roads such as fast-flowing ones.
