The Onyx package, previously available in the Cadillac Escalade Sport and Sport Platinum 2023 trim levels, is now available on the Cadillac Escalade-V 2023, Cadillac Society has learned. As a reminder, the pack adds a series of dark-themed exterior accents.
Specifically, the Onyx Package (PDB production code) for the Cadillac Escalade-V 2023 is a dealer-installed option (LPO level) which includes the following content (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):
- Cadillac Emblem Monochrome, LPO (SFZ)
- Gloss Black Escalade signage, LPO (RIK)
- 22-inch Forged Multi-Spoke Rims in Satin Graphite and Laser Etching, LPO (SQO)
At this time, the price of the Onyx Cadillac Escalade-V 2023 Package has not been released. However, when installed on the Escalade Sport and Sport Platinum, it adds an additional $2,510 to the price of the luxury SUV. It should be noted that the 22-inch alloy wheels included with the Onyx Package for the Escalade-V differ from the set available for the Escalade Sport and Sport Platinum trim levels.
As a reminder, the all-new high-performance Cadillac Escalade-V 2023 is motivated by the marque’s luxury 6.2L V8 supercharged engine (production code LT4). The exploding eight-cylinder powerhouse is capable of 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque, making the Cadillac Escalade-V the most powerful ever built to date. The engine is linked to a Caddy ten-speed automatic transmission, delivering power to all four wheels for optimal traction.
This high-performance luxury SUV is built on the luxury marque’s T1 platform and went into production in mid-July at the Arlington plant in Texas. Pricing for the Cadillac Escalade-V 2023 starts at $149,900, though the previously owned model may cost a lot more than that.
