2024 Cadillac Celestiq Revealed In Production Form

After several delays, the elusive Cadillac Celestiq 2024 show car was finally unveiled in July 2022, promising to be the most customizable vehicle in the luxury marque’s lineup to date. Now, the luxury brand has revealed its future flagship sedan in its production form for the 2024 model year.

“The Celestiq is the purest expression of Cadillac, recognizing our extraordinary history and propelling us to a bolder and brighter future,” said Cadillac Global Vice President, Rory Harvey. “This is a completely bespoke piece of automotive art, built with the most advanced and innovative technology we have ever engineered into a car.”

As previously mentioned, each Cadillac Celestiq 2024 unit will be custom-ordered and handcrafted with materials and details specially selected by the customer, who will work hand-in-hand with their dealer of choice and the Cadillac design team. A number of features will be included as standard, such as Magnetic Ride Control, Adaptive Air Suspension, Active Rear Steering for better agility at low speeds, advanced AWD and a glass roof made of SPD SmartGlass. There will also be select design themes available, as evidenced by a series of trademark filings found by Cadillac Society earlier this year.

In fact, the luxury brand states that Celestiq includes some 300 approved and patented technologies and processes. This will include Ultra Cruise, Cadillac’s advanced driver assistance system that will be able to handle 95 percent of driving situations independently. It will also be capable of remotely self-parking, allowing the vehicle to self-park when it detects a suitable parking space.

The Celestiq will use 23-inch forged aluminum alloy wheels available with summer-specific 23-inch Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires designed specifically for Cadillac with EV efficiency in mind. And speaking of efficiency, the Ultium technology that underpins this ultra-luxury sedan facilitates a 200 kW DC fast charging system that can extend the range to around 78 miles in just 10 minutes at select charging stations.

Inside, the Cadillac Celestiq 2024 offers a pillar-to-pillar 55-inch diagonal HD display in the dashboard, one of five in-vehicle displays. Rear passengers have access to their own 12.6-inch diagonal screen. In addition, a 41-speaker array relays sound in the cab, and hand metalworking creates an artistic interior environment.

This ultra-luxury electric sedan will be handcrafted in very small quantities at the GM Global Technical center, allowing its makers to create even the smallest details. For that, it’s no surprise that the Cadillac Celestiq 2024 will be priced at over $300,000. This ultra luxury sedan is expected to go into production in December 2023.

We will provide more details about Celestiq as soon as we get it. Until then, be sure to subscribe Cadillac Society for more Cadillac Celestiq news and round-the-clock Cadillac news coverage. We also invite you to join the latest discussions on our Cadillac forums and our Cadillac Celestiq forums.
