Production Version of Cadillac Celestiq Debuts Today: Watch Livestream

1 min read

It’s finally here. The buy-and-drive Cadillac Celestiq 2024 will have its official video debut on October 17. You can watch the special live stream event here at Motor1.com starting at 20.00 PDT / 23.00 EDT. Video streams will be added at the top of the article as soon as they become available.

The Celestiq has been around for years. That could be said about every new vehicle an automaker launches, but rarely does such a thing become public knowledge for that long. It was March 4, 2020, when we first heard the Celestiq mentioned by Cadillac, and true to the company’s word, it was a grand flagship. We were privy to the preview back then, and to give you some context as to how long this process has been going on, Cadillac told us that the Celestiq was designed before Lyriq. To refresh your memory, the electric crossover made its debut in April 2021 – just over a year ago. Now, we finally move on to the majestic sedan.

To Cadillac’s credit, they weren’t crazy about the Celestiq teaser. The first one lands in early 2021, and another year will pass before more teasers arrive in June 2022. That’s a prelude no production version, but a concept that was finally launched in July 2022.

Now that you know about the Celestiq, what can we expect from the production model? We already know that the concept is very close in almost every area, because Cadillac puts it that way. That includes a large digital display that covers the entire dashboard, a 2+2 seating arrangement with screens for rear seat passengers, a trick glass roof that can lighten or darken in zones as specific passengers prefer, and more. We know the setup is just right, because the spy photos of the preproduction models leave little to the imagination. All that’s left now is to make it official.
