15 Aventador supercars died in the Atlantic Ocean when the Felicity Ace caught fire earlier this year. It was supposed to be the last customer car of the Sant’Agata Bolognese flagship, so Lamborghini had no other way but to build it all up again. In fact, the Italian exotic marque lost around 85 vehicles during the fire incident, with the majority being Urus SUVs. In late September, the last Aventador was revealed.
An Ultimae Roadster built by the customization division of Ad Personam, the Aventador epilogue was only shown on the assembly line at the factory in Italy. Now, Lamborghini has published a full photo gallery where the last of the breed poses next to the source of inspiration. Painted in a bespoke Azzuro Flake color, the V12 droptop engine has been molded to match the beautiful Miura Roadster.

The one-off Bertone was originally launched in April 1968 at the Brussels Auto Show but never entered production. The spirit of the Miura P400 Roadster is alive and well here as the Aventador swan song replicates its predecessor’s livery with Grigio Liqueo and Nero Aldebaran accents for the underbody.
It’s the same story on the inside where the Bianco Leda leather upholstery with Nero Aldebaran accents around the headrests is a nod to the late 1960s prototype. Clad in Nero Ade Alcantara with Bianco Leda stitching, the dashboard proudly carries the Miura badge which you’ll also find on the exterior, particularly on the side rockers.
If you’re wondering what happened to the unique Miura Roadster, it was sold to the International Lead and Zinc Research Organization. The new owner swapped out all replaceable parts for parts made of zinc or lead. In addition, ILZRO painted the car an olive green color and provided a matching green interior.
Renamed ZN 75, later served as a show car and used for promotional purposes around the world, visiting many design centers. It eventually changed hands several times and returned to its original specifications in 2008 when it was exhibited at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in a fully restored form. It took second place in the Lamborghini class.
