In the race for the most beautiful car in the world, the coupe is sure to dominate the discussion. The lines of these two-door cars are naturally easy on the eyes, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t have the strength to back up their allure.
Case in point: Ferrari Roma, Bentley Continental GT Speed, and Aston Martin DBS Superleggera. All three European coupes are as powerful as they are beautiful, but which of these three coupes will win the drag race? carwow pitted them in a regular drag race video to answer that question.

The Bentley Continental GT Speed has the largest engine in this lineup. With a 6.0-liter W12 mill under the long hood, this British grand tourer can put out 650 horsepower (485 kilowatts) and 664 pound-feet (900 Newton-meters) of torque. These numbers are sent to all four wheels, making the Conti GT Speed the toughest competitor at 5,011 pounds (2,273 kilograms).
The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera produces the same amount of torque as its 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12, but with more power at 705 hp (526 kW). However, it is lighter than the Bentley at 4,068 lbs (1,845 kg), although it is driven only from behind and has no launch control. This is the most expensive, as this DBS Superleggera is one of ten Concorde Editions, priced at £340,000 or about $462,000 at current exchange rates.
Interestingly, the Ferrari Roma is the cheapest of the bunch, selling for under £180,000 ($245,000). It’s also the least powerful at 612 hp (456 kW) and 561 lb-ft (760 Nm) of torque, though its main advantage is its lighter body at 3,461 lbs (1,570 kg).
With all the numbers presented, do you think Ferrari stands a chance against the bigger and more powerful British coupes? Watch the video to find out and let us know what you think below.
