Ram Promaster Custom Camper Has A Unique Layout With Two Large Beds

Posted on

It’s amazing what people can do with a custom camper van. On the outside, this rig looks like the Ram ProMaster. Opening the door leads visitors into a room that looks straight out of an Italian villa. The owners make impressive use of the space by having room for four people to sleep inside.

The motorhome couple seem to prioritize sitting space as there is a large U-shaped sofa in the back of the van. It was attached to the back door, so they could open it and feel nature.

Lifting the pillow reveals a storage area. With the rear doors open, one of them slides outward for easy access to any outdoor gear.

This sofa is converted into a large bed. Plus, a second mattress of the same size was lowered from the roof. Looks like the people downstairs might be a bit cramped in this layout, as there isn’t enough room to sit. Both tiers have their own lights and USB ports.

While the back is luxurious, the bathroom is more utilitarian. The shower sink and composting toilet were hiding under the table, which was located on the hinges. Before bathing, the couple must install a shower curtain.

The kitchen consists of a sink and an induction hob. The water heater is in the cupboard underneath.

To get a natural look for the walls, this couple used roman play, which is a material that resembles plaster. Wooden planks cover the ceiling. The floors are vinyl but have a wood finish to match the rest of the interior. The lighting can be dimmed so the couple can enjoy a darker atmosphere at night.

On the outside, the stairs at the ProMaster provide access to a rooftop deck that offers another place to enjoy nature. There are also 350 watt solar panels there to provide off-grid electricity.
